CMIS
The designated areas for play include: the playground area, the basketball courts and the playing field. During recess, students are not permitted to remain in any classrooms unless prior permission has been granted by a teacher and adult supervisor is present. Secondary School students are not permitted on playground equipment during school. Also, primary students are not permitted on the ramps at any time unless accompanied by a teacher or as required for medical purposes. Students are expected to return sports equipment to the red equipment racks. If a ball has to be retrieved from off campus or a protected enclosure, students should seek assistance from the teacher on duty. Any broken, damaged, or unsafe equipment should be reported immediately to the teacher on duty.
All Primary students take part in morning, lunch and afternoon recess. Students are expected to stay in the designated play areas, be a good friend, play safely, appropriately and fairly. Teachers are assigned supervision duty and must be in their area of supervision as soon as possible and until all students have returned to class.
