Central themes in Business Studies include ethics, sustainability, and social responsibility. This course will cover topics including business ethics, social business, economics, international business, entrepreneurship, management and leadership, personal finance, and the stock market. Projects include creating and operating a student-run business that competes in the Junior Achievement Company of the Year program, and using virtual money to build portfolios and trade on the stock exchange in real time in the Stock Market Game.
