Course Description

Current Events is a semester-long standards-based course that introduces students to major global issues, such as Climate Change, International Trade, Terrorism, Nuclear Proliferation, Immigration, Human Rights, Refugee Crisis, and so forth. To meet this end, students will investigate and debate the key issues of the day, write policy proposals, and take informed civic action.
