The CMIS-Thai University International Program Fair hosted by Chiang Mai International School on 2nd November 2023 at the gymnasium was indeed a significant event in the northern region of Thailand. This fair featured 30 universities and colleges, which is quite a substantial number, offering international programs for students.
.
The fair provided a valuable opportunity for both CMIS students and other students in Chiang Mai to directly interact with these institutions. They could gather information about the various international programs offered by these universities and colleges. This firsthand exposure helps students make informed decisions about their higher education and future career paths.

Eila Galitsky, our golf star, shines bright on the international stage! She was a key player in Thailand's Women’s Golf Team's ASIAN GAMES OLYMPIC GOLD MEDAL victory on Sunday at West Lakes Golf Club in Hangzhou, China . Eila's remarkable achievement as the only amateur on the team and one of the youngest competitors in a field of experienced players from around Asia is truly inspirational.

The administration team of Chiang Mai International School, led by Dr. Yuthachai Damrongmanee and Dr. Cherie Kinnersley, extends a warm welcome to Khun Jaruwan Pongjaruwat, Director of Education - Thailand, New Zealand Embassy, as well as Mrs. Yvonne Browning and Mrs. Megan McKanzie from Southland Girls' High School. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss educational collaboration, with a particular focus on student exchange programs.
.
Chiang Mai International School is excited to announce that our first group of students will be embarking on a student exchange program in January 2024, during which they will study at a school in New Zealand for a duration of 3 months. In the near future, we are also preparing to host students from New Zealand, who will study alongside our own students at CMIS classrooms, fostering an integrated learning and culture experience.
.
CMIS Student Exchange programs provide an excellent opportunity to establish global connections and offer a unique chance to explore different parts of the world. For more information about the exchange program, please contact Ms.Aon: ssangsuwan@cmis.ac.th.

Ms. Saranya Singhsachakul, Education Manager from the Australian Embassy in Bangkok, was warmly welcomed by the CMIS academic coordinator during her visit to Chiang Mai International School. The purpose of her visit was to explore potential collaborations between the school and the Embassy, focusing on educational partnerships, Australian educational fairs, and workshops.
.
Collaborating with the Australian Embassy could open up exciting opportunities for CMIS students. Imagine the enriching experiences and valuable insights they could gain through such partnerships. Here's to hoping for a fruitful connection between CMIS and the Australian Embassy in the future!

Our CSS Club is making a positive impact on the environment!
.
They attended a training session and conducted a Workshop on waste separation and the creative reuse of waste. Check out what they've accomplished:
.
Recycled blocks made from plastic waste.
Skateboards crafted from plastic bottle caps.
Plant pots repurposed from foam waste.
.
But that's not all! Our team has been diligently sorting plastic waste donated from across the country. We're turning this waste into eco-friendly products and donating them to public areas. Together, we're making a difference!
