A big congratulations to Mr. Cameron for being nominated for the NHD South Asia Teacher of the Year award!

Songkran is the traditional Thai New Year. The word Songkran is derived from Sanksrit and means to move or step forward. Songkran runs from the 13th of April to the 15th of April.
During this three day celebration, which is marked by merit making, brightly colored paper Tung are used to decorate the sand chedis at the temple throughout the north.
This year, students in High School learned how to make “Tung Sai Moo” - a colorful flag made of colored paper. It is very popular among people in the north of Thailand. All students enjoyed making Tung in class this week.
