The art students and I have been preparing for months for the CMU art exhibition! We will be participating with 7 other international schools. Students are showing 2D visual artwork and this event shares and exchanges creative ideas within the international school community.

Opening Night is Wednesday March 1, 2023 at 6PM at CMU Art Center
The exhibition will run from March 1 - March 3.

The CMIS counselling team invited the Agency College Recruit, a leader in talent management consulting in Asia for sports and entertainment, to talk about the process of finding sports and arts scholarships for student athletes and artists. It was a special session for students who have talent in sports, arts, music, drama, and dance, seeking a scholarship in a US university. Many CMIS students joined and participated by asking insightful questions.

On Friday, February 3rd, Grade 6 students visited the Chiang Mai Cultural Center. They learned about Chiang Mai history, including the wisdom of the Lanna people that still holds relevance today.

Middle School students use magnification to assist their observations of detail in seashells.

Grade 8 students went to Lanna Wisdom school where they learned how to cook Khao-Soi, the Lanna dish that is ranked the best soup in the world!
