Application Season

Each January, CMIS begins the process of assessing the projected number of vacancies by asking our current students to confirm their plans to re-enroll for the following year.  Once the number of projected vacancies has been confirmed, the CMIS Admissions Team will begin selecting new students between April and May.

Applications may be submitted at any time throughout the year.  New applications will be reviewed and processed as follows:

• Preschool: CMIS starts accepting new applications in January for the school year that begins in August.  Preschool assessments will be scheduled on specific dates starting in March.
• Kindergarten and Grade 1: CMIS starts accepting new applications in January for the school year that begins in August.  Kindergarten and Grade 1 assessments will be scheduled starting in February for as long as there are suitable vacancies available.
• Grades 2 – 12: CMIS starts accepting new applications in January for the school year that begins in August.  Assessments will be scheduled starting in January for as long as there are suitable vacancies available.
