CMISOne credit is equivalent to one semester. A year-long course will earn a student two credits. Students need to complete 50 credits in order to earn a High School Diploma from Chiang Mai International School. Enrollment in a minimum 7 instructional classes per semester.

Planning ahead makes it easier to determine the next steps in your HS education and all students are encouraged to complete a four-year plan, especially if AP Courses are an additional goal.
*All Thai nationals must take a Thai language class each year. Thai language classes may fulfill the World Language graduation requirement.
