AP Comparative Government and Politics is a semester long class that builds upon the foundational skills established during the fall semester “Politics and Government” class and prepares students for the AP comparative government exam. Students will utilize the concepts, theories, and frameworks covered in the fall semester class to engage in comparative analysis of the governments of Britain, Mexico, Russia, Iran, China, and Nigeria. As mentioned above, in order to take this course in the spring semester, students must take the “politics and government” class in the fall semester of the same year.
