CMIS features photos and videos in our CMIS Gallery and on our CMIS Social Media Platforms. Below are some recent highlights.
Visiting music professors from Mahidol University came to CMIS this week and gave master clinics to all of our band students. The day was full of great conversation and musical talent that our students learned so much from! Thank you to Cooper Wright(oboe), Hiroshi Matsushima(flute), and Rasikamon Siyapong(Piano) for sharing their musical expertise with us!

To culminate our day of music clinics with three professors from Mahidol University, Cooper Wright, Hiroshi Matsushima, and Rasikamon Siyapong performed a recital at the end of the school day. They put on an excellent performance of both new and old music that students and staff were all amazed by! The musical excellence on display was a great opportunity for our students to see!

The Student Support Services team hosted an interactive parent workshop titled "Understanding the Teenage Brain" on the Thursday before April break. The workshop provided a collaborative learning environment for parents to learn more about the development of their children and gave them a space to share their experiences with one another. Be on the lookout for more parent workshops in the future!

On Friday ,April 5th,2024,CMIS School's Songkran celebrations were marked by a seamless combination of traditional reverence and engaging activities. Students took part in the prestigious Rod Nam Dam Hua Ceremony, a long-standing Lanna tradition that represents reverence for elders. Following this formal tribute, the campus was alive with the excitement of water-based activities, promoting a sense of community and celebration. The event not only celebrated Thailand's rich cultural heritage, but also gave students the opportunity to create lasting memories and establish community relationships.

Another unforgettable chapter in our CMIS tradition! The special volleyball match between Teachers and Coaches versus Students has come to a close, but the memories and camaraderie will last a lifetime. A big round of applause to all participants for showcasing teamwork, sportsmanship, and school spirit. Until next time, let's keep the volleyball spirit alive!
