In Wit & Wisdom, 4B students are using an activity called ChalkTalk to share their ideas about the topic questions. In total silence, students are encouraged to make links between the comments they write and what others have written. They can add questions to another person's response if they find it interesting and want to stimulate further discussion or just circle it if they agree. This activity encourages critical thinking, empathy and shows a deep awareness of the core texts.
