CMISCourse Description
PreAlgebra P2 is a foundation course designed to ensure a successful transition into the more specific math focus of high school. Built on the Common Core Standards for Mathematics, PreAlgebra encompasses five focus areas: The Number System; Expressions & Equations; Functions; Geometry; and Statistics & Probability. Lessons are crafted to develop a deep understanding of math concepts, as well as sharpen students' skill in the "doing" of math. The CMIS Philosophy of Math will shape the learning experience.
