STUCO, with the support of the PTG, are excited to invite you to HARVEST FESTIVAL 2022! All parents, guardians, staff members and students are invited to attend. Remember to dress up daily to gain grade level points!
Students have been working hard all semester to improve their skills, work together, and make music, and we want to show off how far they've come! From grade 7-12, the CMIS band students will be performing everything from Christmas tunes to get in the spirit for the upcoming holidays to classical and challenging pieces by Bach and Balmages. Please join us in celebrating their growth, hard work, and musicianship on Thursday, November 17 at 6:00 pm.
CMIS high school students performed a special Thai dance in celebration of Loy Krathong. We are enjoying the festive spirit of this beautiful festival!
The theme for the month of October was Insects, so a visit to the Siam Insect Zoo was essential to enable the students to see a variety of insects in their natural environment and to learn how insects help our Earth. A field trip is not only important for academic knowledge, but it also teaches our young students how to behave and communicate with others in our Chiang Mai Community and how they themselves can help the Earth to survive.

MS and HS students celebrated the Loy Krathong festival this year with a lot of fun activities. Students in MS Thai class learned how to make Lanna lanterns in a variety of ways and learned more about the history of Lanna Lanterns, which represents the moving away from darkness into a brighter future. HS students were asked to create their Krathong in a creative style. They also participated in the festival by getting to go on a short field trip to the Ping River near campus, where they released their Krathong onto river. Happy Loy Krathong!
Interact Club hosted a hot chocolate fundraiser this week. Students and staff enjoyed the tasty hot chocolates as the mornings are getting colder!
Students are having fun learning new skills at the Rock Climbing Club this semester! Every week, there are learning objectives that are being taught that allow students to grow in their abilities and to become better climbers. It is so wonderful to get to share this experience with friends!
