Unbelievably, it is the time of year to order your copy of the CMIS yearbook! Please use the order form that has been emailed to you to reserve your copy. In order to have them here before the end of the school year, all orders will need to be in by April 30th.

Grade 2 students began their last science module, "Plants and Insects" this week. Students learnt about the needs of insects and then were tasked with carefully creating a habitat that would suit their new pet mealworms. Students will be responsible for looking after their mealworms during the remaining weeks of term and will make observations as they change and grow.

CMIS Spirit Week Day 3: International Day!

On April 25th, Mr. Nick, the MS Art teacher, took the six graders on their first Art field trip this year. We went to Slow Hands Pottery Studio in the artsy Wat Umong neighborhood. The students were taught by the master ceramicist how to make bowls and plates
They also had the opportunity to paint and glaze premade bowls and cups. In about two weeks they will all be fired and ready for pick up.

Mr. Melby’s 6th Grade science class had a sweet surprise today! Utilizing the different properties of the candy coating and inner chocolate layers of an M&M, students were able to see firsthand the differences between dissolving and melting.
