Biography

Nicolas Luna was born in the USA but grew up in Mexico and USA. He has lived and worked overseas in Germany, Hungary, Mexico and Thailand. Luna began his career as a Visual Artist at UCSC and has since studied with various master printmakers, draughtsman and painters in the USA, Mexico and Thailand. He joined CMIS in 2021 as the Middle School Art Teacher. In international school settings, Luna has worked as teacher (Social Studies, MUN, Slam Poetry, Anthropology, Theater and Visual Arts), University Drawing Instructor and Head of International Affairs. He speaks seven languages.
