Our high school curriculum comprises grades 9 to 12 and includes instruction in the core subjects of English, mathematics, science, social studies.  CMIS high school also offers variety of elective subjects in the areas of PE, health, art, technology, music, drama, and World Languages. Our American, standards-based curriculum provides a college-preparatory education, suitable for University acceptance throughout the world, and offers students the opportunity to undertake various first year college-level courses and a AP Capstone Diploma through the Advanced Placement (AP) program.

CMIS high school students are provided with Google Chromebooks and are given authentic opportunities to use technology in their core, content courses and electives.

High School Credits and Graduation Requirements

One credit is awarded for each one-semester course completed with a passing mark of D-.  A minimum of 50 credits is required for graduation. (Students may transfer no more than 14 credits per year from another school.)  Students in Grades 9 to 12 are also required to complete 60 hours of service learning over the course of their four years in high school.

* Thai passport holders must complete four years of Thai study in Grades 9 to 12.

CMIS offers an “Honors Graduation Diploma” for students who successfully complete three AP classes and maintain a Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 3.5.  A “Graduation Diploma” is awarded to those who have successfully completed fewer than three AP courses. Students may also earn an AP Capstone Diploma by completing the requirements set by Collegeboard.org.

Our graduates gain admission quality Colleges and Universities world wide, with a significant number of our graduates choose to study in the United States, Canada, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Korea, Japan, and China.
