Please continue to check your email in order to follow the procedures from the Health Office regarding completing the ATK tests and health forms for all members of your family before the start of school. We look forward to seeing you all in person on Monday!
Welcome back to the first day of semester two! We are disappointed that we aren't all meeting on campus today, but are hopeful that day will come soon. We hope the first day of online learning is going well for all and if you are experiencing any difficulties, please contact your respective principals for assistance.
On Thursday, January 6, CMIS was able to host the semester two New Family Orientation for the new families joining our community. We were thrilled to welcome families to campus, introduce them to members of staff, and show them around school. We look forward to getting to know our new families!
Grade 7 Humanities students got the year off to a start by reflecting on their first semester and refocusing themselves for the second. Students wrote 6 word memoirs for their reflections and then chose just 1 word to guide them through this semester.

Pre KB are learning about Simple Machines and this week we are looking at Inclined Planes.

This week in KGA, we worked on writing number bonds for our Math work to help us visualize our adding and dividing. We also made our own Billy Goats Gruff as a response to reading the story. We played 'A Cold Wind Blows' where we followed the actions of the leader of the game. We also wrote about some of the things we did over the new year break in our journals.
